Do you think Halo is wrecked?

Halo is still great. Halo 3 is one f the most popular games on Live and Halo Wars is a terrific game. It has became my favorite RTS.

To the OP, no. Halo Wars is great, just wish some of the missions weren't so ridiculous on Legendary.

i love halo wars. i dont think halo is any greater or lesser becuase of it. its a solid game that proves RTS can be played on home consols

Do you guys think they ruined halo with halo wars? I think....yes, because it is a strategy game!! Strategy games are fun and all, but Halo wars could have been alot better if it was first person shooter like the other halos, they could have added alot more action, i was really upset when i played the demo of halo wars and found out it was strategy game, it really sucked. So...what do you guys think of the new halo?papa_niz

OP, I want to be very honest with you, because of this, I am going to point out exactly were in your post you failed to make me think you had a sturdy opinion about this.

'I think...yes, because it is a strategy game!!' - No duh, guess what, it came from Ensemble. They were good at Strategy games.

I can respect a person disliking a Genre but you just seem more blind then opinionated. A new studio takes it in a new direcction and you hate it for no other reason then the change. If you want a first person shooter you really should have been smart enough to read up on the game online and just stick with halo. This game has been marketed as a strategy game from the start and you should have known months in advanced just based off the information on THIS site alone.

Also, I thought Halo Wars was decent. Definitely not as great as other RTS games, surely not as Challenging, but nonetheless a working game with interesting gameplay for the first few goes at least.

My real opinion OP is that if anything here is bad it is your current point of view on games. You need a larger list of games you will play. It really is more fun when you play more then just shooters all the time. (From your post I deduced this was the case, give or take a WRPG or two)

Halo Wars was intentionally made to be an RTS game to provide a little bit of variety with Halo games . . . I personally thought it was a good choice; however, I wouldn't of minded having a FPS called "Halo: the beginning" with all the spartans.
