You know, like they did with Metal gear solid 2 : Substance? i really hope kojima realizes how much success the mgs series will get if they release a revamped version of MGS4 for the 360. Even Resident evil 4 was released to the ps2 after it's regime of gaming perfection...what are your opinions?
Hopefully, but it would be good to play MSG3 first! MSG4 is probably going to be a timed exclusive, but I'm not too bothered. I'd rather play Assassin's Creed or Bioshock atm ...

and by quiting i mean the mgs series.
I'm not a big fan of sony so I didn't watch the press conference but I'm a little glad to hear that he's quitting because now there is a much higher chance that MGS4 will be on the 360. Isn't the MGS series ending after the fourth installment though? Solid Snake is growing quite old.
i think it might be ported over to the 360 eventually. depends if konami feels like the money they earned is enough, that'll be the deciding factor. i'm sure as much as konami would like to be loyal to the PS3, they are a business and that always comes first. they need money to make better games in the future.
MGS games have a really great story, thats all u guys are missing, the gameplay is OK....and i doubt they are gonna port this to the 360, unless they do really bad on the PS3 and this is the only resort to make some profit from their game....
i'm sure in due time we will get our version of MGS4 -- konami even mentioned thinking about going multiplatform just to cover development cost, which makes sense since the PS3 user base isn't nearly as huge as the 360.
It'll come probably a year after the PS3 release. I'm not the patient type though. I bought Gamecube just for RE4, and recently I bought PS3 just for MGS4. =P
wow no! it wont! have you guys not read several of his interviews and such where he says he started the series on ps3 and wants to end it on it and that its ps3 exclusive for sure and he doesn't want to lower the game down to dvd quality and do you guys realize how big this game is, they are not going to make a 5 disc version for the xbox
If Konami wants to make money they will. And if previous metal gears tell us anything we will be seeing msg4 on the 360 8-10 months after it comes out on ps3

Without Kojima's touch it will be a terrible port bu Konami, and you cant tell right know if its going to be ported. So stop making these threads. If the PS3 install base world wide is not 10 million or more by the time MGS4 hits the PS3 than a #60 port is very likely but if he PS3 install base does grow than a 360 version will never see light, thats what that Konami spokeman ment by extra messures. i think the only way it wont come to 360 is if the play station sells 10 000 cosles by the end of this year. other than that mgs has to come to 360 or else konami will lose bucket and bucket of money

MGS has stellar gameplay and a convoluted, but ultimately satisfying story and it's a Konami game, not a "Sony" game.

sony didnt have everything... alot of games but certainly not everything.
with all that being said, im buying a ps3 mostly for MGS4. i did enjoy MGS3 (well mgs3 subsistance)and thought the boss batles were fun. And i think a MGS game without the limitations of the ps2 could be awesome.
