I like to play games on the hardest difficulty setting because I like a challenge. I don't usually do too well in online matches because I rarely play online and playing against humans is obviously harder then playing stupid, predictable AI.
I don't play online much because I prefer a great single player experience to an online one any day, so by the time I try a game online everyone has gone pro and sometimes it's hard to compete.:P
Try picking up a game, learning how to do everything 5 minutes after starting it, adapting to so many different control settings within seconds, and then being good at it.
Now, go play a game you suck at and get better at it.

i wouldn't call myself a gaming god, like u said i can pick up a game and be taking the ai to the cleaners. then when it comes to online i'd say i'm decent. like everyone has their hot streaks. mine just happen more than often.
Nah not a gamer god but I do adapt fairly well to video games of any genre except sport titles and fps because I loathe them. However, Ive notice I can be quite good at fps when I actually care to try. And about beating games on their hardest setting I havent been able to do that because I hardly ever finish games now. So far this year I have only beaten two games and I have far too many unbeaten and the list just keeps growing with more new releases heh.

Yea, playing it on the normal difficulty then the hardest doesn't mean you're a god... because when you play the hardest you then know how to do things that you didn't know the first time through, you know the placement of enemies, and in the case of halo, yo will know where all the "good" item drops are... It doesn't make you godly in the least.
Well, ive been playin mario since the age of 2 years and i still play mario 3 and killer instinct. but im not a god cuz i dont beat all my games. some i get for online and some not online. but iam pretty damm good enuff to beat you at Gears or Halo or Mario Kart 64 or Tekken 5 or Marvel vs. Capcom 2 or Naruto Gekitou Ninja Taisen EX. i own video game gods

I'm a video game God, no doubt. It's just that the proof is with my other gamertag, which my supermodel girlfriend uses when we're not banging on top of piles of money. Aside from that, this topic is pretty stupid.
