Do you think there will be another halo?

apart from halo wars and ODST. so what do u think? to tell you the truth i dont really care because halo 3 machmaking never gets old. I think they will but it will not be bungie. i think that they will sell halo to someone else to ruin it. What do you guys think????

Um, yeah. Microsoft owns Halo so they decide who's going to make the next game. Bungie confirmed they weren't making halo 4. And I believe Microsoft said they were pulling developers together with Peter Jackson to make a new Halo game. Don't know if it's halo 4.MT_Dewer

I would think so. Halo is one of the biggest shooter franchises. Other big franchises are still having games made after ten or fifteen years: Doom, Quake, Unreal, Half-Life, Rainbow Six.Palantas

it's not a 4th halo..infact they are calling it in "interactive movie" type game lawlessx

Hopefully yes!!! Halo 3 was good but nothing compared with halo 1 sp and halo 2's mp. If they end now, we won't reliaze how much pontential this game can have.

I think halo might be a new mario franchise. COnsidering theres halo wars which was not bad for a console rts.

Peter Jackson is directing the Halo movie, he is not making a game. He is a movie director, video games aren't really his MO. As far as will there be another Halo game, well Microsoft seems pretty intent that they are done who knows though. For all we know they could just be saying that and be working on something new. Also, they said that Halo: ODST and Halo Wars were the last games of the Halo franchise, that does not mean Master Chief won't ever make another appearance. It would not really make sense to make another game with him in it and call it Halo when the whole Halo thing (trying to fire the rings) is over, there could very well be another game set in the future where someone finds Master Chief floating in space and they need him to fight some other war they are currently in.
