He'd definitely have to go out with a HUGE bang, like a nuclear explosion kinda bang. Otherwise I'd say he'd never be killed. He's called the MASTER Chief for a reason. Most Halo players have him up there with God so it would be sacrilege to kill him.

It's a trilogy, and everyone one knows that in the final installment in a trilogy, the main characters are no longer protected from a demise. All gloves are off and all safety nets removed. He CAN die in this one. I am not saying he will die, I am just saying he CAN die. Unless they plan on Halo 4, then he might kick around for a while longer.
He will die probably trying to "Finish The Fight" yet when the Movie comes out it will reveal more about the Halo story then at the end of the Credits ( like all the halo games ) it will show Master cheif and a group of Elites trying to Heal him or something like that,Im not telling my whole idea correctly but thats just a short summary of what might happend.

Everyone knows that they wont stop at Halo 3 they keep saying that but it wont happend.Millions of Fans will be mad ( at least i will ) the game has a HUGE story and you wont finish all of the fights going on in just 1 game.You barely took care of anything in Halo 2 so what are you going to do in Halo 3 drop 10,000 Atomic bombs on earth and thats it..No There will be more Halo's No dought.
I say, Yes, he will die. At the end of the game, Master Chief will probably be dying, and my guess is that Keyes' Daughter (miranda?) will take his helmet off and he will die. Alot like Star Wars ROTJ.

This isnt the last Halo game, this is the last game in the Halo universe set in that time of events. There will be other Halo FPS in the Halo universe............just not at that time of events.Â

It would be endgame and then MC would hear about another epicdemic he has to save, then he would be like "**** it", and he takes his helmet off (showing Samual L. Jackson's head) and he shot himself with a pistol.
i think he should die, especially after reading the first 3 books, you know that MC has been though alot. even without the books he has. No man can last forever, and unless bungie want to cash in on another game with him in it, i think he will die.
but even if he dies they can always do a prequel, reach or not it could be interesting.

they did not say this would be the last halo game, they said this was planned to be the last game in the halo's master chief saga. (which started just after Reach.) look at halo wars, or the peter jackson planned filmic games. set in the halo world.

I hope, in the end, Bungie doesn't reveal what Master Chief looks like. It's just a bad move on Bungie because why show his face in Halo 3 when people have been imagining his real face since Halo 1.

probably. He'll do the classic, epic sacrifice himself to destroy evil once and for all, and the last thing he'll say is some badass one liner. Then if you beat it on legendary you get an extra cutscene thats all "Look, he's alive!" then you get to see his face? haha I don't know. Thats too cliched.
He'll probably go to some alien space area, to finish the fight, then get cut off, with everyone thinking he is dead. Then they will make Halo the return in which, it is his quest back
