Do you try to get a 1000 points in a game?

While looking through all the games I had, I noticed the only game I have a 1000 GS on is CoD 4. Now usually I try and get all of the single player achievements, and I really do not care for the MP achievements if any. However I noticed that I average 200-400 GS per game. So is getting that magical 1000 points VERY important to you? To me only on certain games, like CoD

Nope but I am trying to get the 1,000 in Dragon Age because to my knowledge they are only for beating/doing things in the game a different way.

nope, im not that into achievments. I dont really beat many games either. I just play til i get stuck (Ninja Gaiden II grrrrr) or til i get bored with the game (Forza2)

This. I just got my first "true" 1000G, which is in Tekken 6. I've also gotten 1000G on Fuzion Frenzy 2 but that's only because the achievements are so easy and I did not rent the game just for achievements. Me and 3 other friends rememberd how fun the first one was so we rented FF2.

This game Avatar: The last Earth: Has only 4-5 achievements (easy) just hit counter hits. Bam 1k Gamerscore

Call of Duty 4 was easy if you played on Veteran.

Of course I try to get all the achievements in the games I own. But if I can't, or they need a huge amount of time (like the mp ones) then I pass.

I only try to get a few to show that I put effort into playing a game. I only take my COD's seriously. I wish I ould transfer achievement for my earlier account for my COD2 achievements. I play those all on Veteran.

I usually try to get at least 500-600 points so I can tell myself I got more than half. If there are crazy achievements or MP ones I usually just ignore them and get all the single player ones.

i buy very few game so i try for the thousand in those, games i rent, meh. i like to have a higher score than my buddies in games we both own, i don't care about my total score.

Not really. If I see that it is attainable through moderate challenge, then I'll go for it. However, some of the achievements involve stupid collection quests or completely maxing out the game (i.e. GTA IV or Tales of Vesperia), then I don't bother.

For games I really enjoy, and that don't have too hard of achievements, it is fun to 1k them. (or for arcades, 200 them)
