Dead or Alive 4 is great, especially with the online play. But if you like to play off-line & VF is more your style ... I'm sure it won't disappoint either.

If you're having problems with the difficulty, you're not alone. Play on XBL, it's much easier, lol. But DOA4 is still a great game. Personally, I think VF is rubbish.Â
they are completely different. i am fans of both of them. however if you arn't an all-star fighter player i would suggest doa4 b/c vf5 is not fun unless you r really good at it. i learned that after i actualy became good at the series in vf3
Im a fan of both series. Although I know a-lot if hardcare fans of Tekken/ VF dotn like the fighting system in DOA4. If its not your kinda game just wait for VF5 this summer itll have online play as well.
