Does 360 scratch disks?

I hear noises in my 360 when playing games..like i think there normal as well as the fans i hear which are loud...and it seems to be louder on loading times..is it cause its loading its loud?? its not scratching it right?? it hasnt come up with unreadable disc and i heard that the drive is loud but i want to make sure..I have a Samsung drive btw is this helps an iv watched youtube videos on the grindding noise and its definatly not griniding..so its normal for it to be loud?? Its just the 360 loading is it not?? Thanks:P This will help me sleep at night :P

The 360 is normally loud, look at the bottom of your disc is it scratched. I have never had that issue. If you move the system while its running a circle ring will be scratched into the bottom of your disc.zeldafan00013

Loud as in fans loud or the disc drive loud or both :|

EDIT: Also i dont look at the bottom of my discs. ont ask why im just super sticitious, but if the 360 was to scratch my ddiscs im sure it wul make it un-readable or screwed or skippy so i think its just loud..ill try n find a video on how loud mine is to compare with you guys to tell me if its normal or not.

there is a small deejay inside the 360 who scratches the discs. but only when you smack his house around while the disc is still inside it.dxy592
