Does anybody know anything about Splinter Cell 5?

Lol, it was enjoyable. Its also X360 and PC exclusive.

I got to the second part of the africa mission where there is the Army base, I didn't know what to do so stopped.

Incompasitate everybody in the base or just sneak around them lol get on the laptop download the plans go to the tower climb the ladder kill or save hisham hamza. If you dont kill Him then you will be launched into a 3r part of the mission which is pretty fun. If you need any help message me and Ill do my best.

I have heard nothing of the new Splinter Cell. I am a fan of the series, but I was a bit dissapointed with the last game.Gamezilla57

Yep, I agree with most of you, Double Agent was a let down, good ideas'n'everything, but they didn't get it quite right y'know...I think the dumbest, most idiotic and absolutely retarded thing Ubisoft did with Double Agent is take away all ammo, but still give you the guns :? if you play it on the hardest level, which is how I always play my games when I first get them.  I mean come on, that is not realistic at all, I could totally understand giving you the least amount of ammo possible, that would've encouraged tatical thinking, waste a bullet or save it y'know?.  Sam Fisher is supposed to be this top notch, elite Special Forces commando that operates deep behind enemy lines, and there are people in real life that do that, you mean to tell me they're gonna go in with guns but no ammo???...

Come on now, 1 of my all time favorite things to do in Splinter Cell was to sneak up on an enemy and pop them right in the head with my silenced pistol without them ever knowing I was there, that is freaking addicting...and Ubsisoft took that away, and that's 1 of the many exact reasons why I doubt I'll even finish that game, such a let down.  And they totally wrecked the co-op that made Chaos Theory so awesome as well....AND I still have yet to see any blood worthy of the "M" rating they've given the last 2...anyone agree with me here?...

I had the opposite reaction to practically all of you, I loved Double Agent. I'm now thinking about going through it on hard to get the achievement, even though the game was quite challenging on normal. Anyways yeah all I know is that in my EGM they called the new game Splinter Cell Conviction.lantus

Wow. The man can't have his own opinion without being a mindless hater? Where are you getting your logic? Saying that change is usually good is your opinion. Get used to people having different ones. Whether or not a game lets someone down is completely subjective to the person themselves. Maybe he wanted more stealth. Just because you liked the game with more Action dosent mean it's the right choice.
