Does anybody still play Team Fortress 2?

Hey all,

I'm thinking about picking up the Orange Box maily because I've always wanted to get into the Half-Life story line. However, my question is do people still play the multiplayer game on it "Team Fortress 2"? It may be a deal breaker if the online community for that is non-existant. Thanks

I have trouble getting into games sometimes, but i can generally get into a game after 2-3minutes of searching. If you buy it and want to play just add me (Gamertag is CHUGACHEA ). Although even without TF multiplayer the orange box is still a great deal.

Nope. The 360 version of the game is plagued by far too many netcode problems and as a result the community quickly died out.

Why are people lying? I've put 450 hours into the xbox 360 version pretty sure i didn't play by myself.. Lots of people play the game still.

The lag was fixed? I didnt play in months because of it.

And even when there wasnt any lag i would always get randomly disconnected from matches.

It just matters the lag is very random. Sometimes i'll go about four or more weeks without lag but then it comes back bad for a few days. Also avoid games without full bars but even when i do go to them my connections normally good enough to avoid drops. Though yes random drops does occur sometimes which is rather annoying.

Yeah people still play. I play it just about everyday and never have problems finding a match. And for those complaining about lag stop joining gameswhere the host has bad connection :P

Yeah, people still play. I would get it if I were you, but if you can, get it for PC. The PC version has a larger community, mods, and more maps/updates. It is far superior to the Xbox 360 version.

Tons of people still play it...on PC...

yeah ppl do i just bought it for my xbox on saturday and i've been playing it a couple times mainly playing portal but thats besides the point.

Not on 360. The PC version is the only version really worth playing at this point and I play it all the time on Steam.
