Does anyone actually BUY custom faceplates and use it?

I would have said no to that until I saw and bought a silver faceplate in Wal-Mart that was on sale for TWO DOLLARS.  When switched em up with my default, it looked really good!  no longer a plain white 360, it looked like a high end 360, probably even better than the black finish but hey....

Its a preference thing, some people like them while others don't.  Me, I couldn't care less.

i've bought two so far. i bought the blue one with the cool looking design on it..i think they named it the "hot rod" face plat or something like that. i also bought the gears of war faceplate and thats the only i currently have on my 360.

honestly to tell u the truth, i thought the whole faceplates thing was the dumbest thing i've ever heard in my life.  but i ended up getting one lol.  i got the halo face plate cause it's just a beautiful looking faceplate, plus it came with a code to get the halo theme for free.  which was another reason i got it.  its been in use since the day i got it.

I got a Gears of War faceplate for free with my copy of the game. It wasn't so bad really, beause I'm the only one with  GoW face placte at my friends' gaming parties.

Considering that I almost never look at my 360 I dont want to spend money to make it look different.But I might buy one if I see one really cheap.

I just shoved a penny in the top part of it, and moved it along.  Then just yank each side off.

Face plates are afraid of becoming homosexual?

I got a Splinter Cell one with a magazine subscritpion. But I've never put it on my box. I think the plain cream is elegant enough.

I think the chrome/silver ones look okay...but only if you look at it so that the top of the Xbox itself isn't visible...otherwise it looks odd.

At launch I bought an E3 one off eBay for about $75.00... but about 7 months later I saw how much they were fetching, so I re-sold it on eBay, used, for $150.00. Even though it cost me that much, that faceplate is the best one I've ever seen, outside of one-off customs.
