I have to update mw2, madden 11, ufc 2010, gta4, and red dead pretty much everytime i play them... could there be a problem with my xbox?? or is it because i have all my games downloaded to my hard drive???? let me know :

yeah like little 4mb downloads right? i think its probably in game advertisements and tracking stuff. not actual updates to the games. but not sure.
more like every week or so. I dont know if youre being sarcastic with everytime. It changes every 2 weeks or so for me with playing on a consecutive basis
No dude iv played mw2 everyday this week and have had to update everyday... same with madden 11more like every week or so. I dont know if youre being sarcastic with everytime. It changes every 2 weeks or so for me with playing on a consecutive basis

The 360 updating system is pretty crappy. It is stored onto a temp. memory file. After you play, I think four different games, you will have to update your games again.ShadowDeathXI don't even understand why they make it such a low number of games. I mean its not like these updates take up much space on the HDD anyway. I would love if in their next update they would up it to 8 or 16 or something (or give the option to the user if they want to store more).

They're not it happens to me too. Every game I play I have to update. Even if I already updated it that day. And it's always a small one like 4MB.
I don't have this problem at all. If it's an older game, it usually has an update the first time I play it. Sometimes a larger update, sometimes just a little one, but it always only takes a few moments, whereas with the PS3 it takes forever to update games. But it's certainly not an everyday or even really every monthkinda thing, in my experience.
