I remember hearing that the core console was gonna come with a wired controller and I can't imagine anybody in this day and age using a wired controller. Does anyone here actually have (and use) a wired controller?

The only good thing about Wired controllers is I heard you can hook them up via USB to a computer, and all you need are drivers. So you may have a PC controller laying around and not even know it. Other than that, nope.

We are in the wireless day and age, wires are so last gen. lol.

I have a wired controller because I don't want to waste more money buying a control that I can use buying a game.

I have one, which I use for my guests, but before I had my rechargable pack, I did use wired, I don't find them bad, and it was better because my wireless would die when I was in the middle of a game.

I do. Occasionally use it for my PC, and if I can't find the lead to charge my wireless, I just use the wired control for the meantime.

It is only a $10 difference. How can you get a game for that much?

I have one just in case I have a few friends over so we can play 2-3 players.

I got one for an extra controller for multiplayer. I picked up a used one that was practically like new for $20. I wasn't gonna use it myself so why drop $50-60 on another Wireless.

I have both a wired and wireless controller, and I always use the wired. I'm a PC gamer, so wireless peripherals dont sit well with me (Wireless mouses and keyboards tend to have a slight delay). This probably isn't true with the 360, but the wired controller doesn't bother me.
