Does anyone here play Fallout New Vegas?

I just bought the game today for the 360, and I heard from everyone that the game is buggy. It is to my understanding that they released a patch many months ago to fix some of the bugs and performance issues, and that recently, the developers said they were going to release another patch to stabilize the game even more. Has that 2nd patch come out yet? How does the game run right now? Is playing this game bad for your 360?

IF you want loading screens to be shortened, make sure you download the game to the hard drive. that way, the xbox loads the game faster.

Playing through it for a third time on the Xbox now.

I recommend installing the game. Makes things go a lot quicker then before. Made Fallout much more enjoyable.

No it's not bad, but sometimes when I played it, my xbox would freeze because of the bugs/glitches. A game cannot be bad for a console. Unless it's COD (joke)

Yes, played it, but could'nt complete cos of the bugs (corrupt saves), got 68 hours gameplay though. I've never played online, so i never got the patches, nevermind.

I bought it on release day, couldn't play it for more than maybe 10 minutes before it would hard lock up my xbox. Tried to take it back as it simply didn't work and after some serious complaining I was able to. After being furious at Obsidian for putting out such trash I forgot about it for a long time. About a month ago I decided to give it another try to see if it had been patched or that my disk was just bad the first time. This time my wife put it in the machine and downloaded the 1 patch offered (yes I said 1?), all seemed good until about 20 minutes in I commented that it didn't appear to be locking up so all was good. My wife just looked at me and then the TV, turning my head I saw the screen had indeed locked up. Out came the game and probably wont touch it again.

Some background on my 360, of the almost 100 games I have this is the single game that doesn't play without locking up. Back when I had gotten the game the first time I tried it on both of my 360's and both had issues with it. It would seem logical to say that this game is trash because of shoddy programming.
