A single red light in the bottom right quadrant. Last night I went to play a DVD and this happened. No big deal, I just shut it off and turned it right back on and it was fine.

It was just weird because the screen had Japanese writing on it w/ a big red E76 on the bottom of the screen.

Thanks to anyone who has an answer.

The bottom right one means "General Hardware Failure"
All the "E" errors come up in multiple languages. The Asian text is just the last 3 lines.

From what ive looked up on boards, the e76 one doesnt have a fixable solution bar sending off to MS if it keeps occuring.
Some of the boards talk about soldering off a network node, and stuff of that description, so i hope it was a once off.

U in warentee?

well to be honest , I didn't really read the whole screen. Just remember seeing some asian writing and the E7(something). Luckily I do have a warranty, but will wait to see if it happens again.

Unfortunately this is my third 360, and 50 dollars for new waranties after swapping it out is starting to add up.They all have broken around the 5-6 month peroid.

Thanks for the quick response.Much appreciated!
