I really don't see why it would matter that much. Just go pre-order it if you're going to get it on the first day. Also just pre-order it on a day that you want to get somthing else from there.

Sgt johnson is an awesome character, if youre a fan of halo then why not? Personally i have no problems going with ODSTs only but with johnson theres always a good mix.

Yes it does, it ends up costing 65 dollars because they charge you to hold onto it. If not why do you think gamestop would try so hard to get ppl to preorder from them by paying game developers to add a reward for preorders

yeah. i never pre order games. unless i get free stuff. like for instance. i pre ordered Batman, Tekken 6 and GH5. so ill get some free songs for GH5, some new level for batman and some stuff for tekken 6. its not like u will pay more if u pre order ur game.

Yes, they only charge the 5 dollars to guarantee that you're getting the game from them. It allows them to do better inventory when they order copies of the game or when corporate sends copies to the stores. This way they don't send 50 copies to the store and only 5 people come to buy it. If they have 5 preorders, they will send probably 7 or 8 copies to ensure they have extra, but not much more. It's all just business. I used to work at a game retailer

I'll preorder, mostly for the convenience of having it delivered to my door ASAP. Don't care much about who I'll be playing as in firefight. I generally don't care how my character looks in a shooter; I just want to play.

I'd pre-order it, but since they bumped up the price I'm holding off. It might surprise us all and just be too short to justify a purchase.

It'd be pretty neat, definately fan-service. I wouldn't pre-order for it tho, so maybe they will make it into DLC later on.

Why do people think the preordering costs money? It just goes to the price of the game. If you are going to get the game when it comes out you might as well preorder to get the code, or at Amazon to get money off. I don't know if I will be getting the game so I haven't preordered it.
