I sure dont I just want it for the online. I probably will do the same as I did with Halo 2, play the campaign when xbox live is down or I can't get online for some reason. Anyone want it more for the campaign then online?
Hell yeah I want it for the campaign. I could give a flying **** about the multiplayer, yeah, I know it's what the series is known for and all, but there are a lot of people that dig the story and single player aspects of the series, plus, Bungie has acknowledged how short Halo 2 was and how terrible the ending was, and have promised to fix both with H3, so I expect a much better campaign this time around. Honestly playing through Halo 2 co-op in campaign, was far more fun than I ever had playing online.
I got Halo 2 for the campaign so I was very disappointed when it wasn't that great. Im getting Halo 3 for the campaign as well and Im hoping the same thing won't happen this time around. The multiplayer is just an added bonus.
I usually play the single player first until i beat it on normal and hard mode, then i jump into the multiplayer. Im not that good at halo because i cant sit inside all day so when im tired of getting killed constantly online i will go on single player and take my frustration out.
Yes...I buy and play games for the single player...Then like in the case of COD2...I play the z$%t out of it online...Play your games people...Developers take their time to make a game....story, plot, voices..ect...
Of course. I was really mad witht eh ending of Halo 2 becasue I love the story so much. The campaign is my first priorety and when I'm done that, I'll jump online.

I care about Halo because I care about the story. I honestly believe the complexity of Halo's storyline would be better served in a movie... I'm sure I'll love the multiplayer, but I'm more interested in the conclusion to the Halo trilogy.
ummm.... hopefully it will be A LOT better than halo 2 campaign, cause it sucked. And i am tired of fighting the Freaking Flood, they are annoying and repetitive. Halo 1 campaign was the ****.
Buying it for the single player, keeping it for the multiplayer. At least for the first couple months, right about then is when every B-tard playing the game starts doing the same damn thing over and over agian and it just gets stupid. Unless it's just you and your friends playing.
Halo 2 was great until everybody starting runnign around using the noob-combo on every stinking map. OMG PLAZMUH PISTAL ADN BATTLE RIFLE I SHOOT LAZURS PEW PEW PEW PEW PEW BOOM HEDSHOT NEWBZ LAWLZ!!111
Hell it got so bad that if you made a custom game that didnt include the BR half your match would just quit.
