Alright so Im planning on getting Burnout Paradise because I want just a fun enjoyable game thats not too stressful. But Im worried about repitition. I know theres going to be some but will it become a chore to complete the game? I felt this way finishing NFS Most Wanted and I know its only $20 but I dont want to waste my time and/or money. And does the DLC give it new life becuase I was thinking on buying that too with the game.

Well, that depends on you.. for me Burnout paradice is awsome. With the bike update and the other stuff coming... I find it doesn't become old. They added more challenges I noticed, and online you have more than 250 challenges to complet. I also find that it's alot of fun just to drive around crash into stuff do flips and stuff. but the challenges is not the only thing theres to do. For instance while driving around you have to smash special fences distroy billbards etc. I play it on the xbox 360. And also they have a "pcpd update" coming soon and the only thing I can think about that is were gonna have to take down cops before they take us down.

I have Burnout Paradise and it doesn't get old the way that Need for speed Most Wanted did. I have both of them and I feel hands down Burnout Paradise is the better game. There is so much to do in Burnout that you will never get bored. There are many different races and racing online is lag free and awesome. Also, the DLC is free and it includes motorcycles and crotch rockets. I feel this is the best arcade racing game out there. It is only twenty dollars, but I would definitely pay sixty dollars for it. It is awesome, trust me there are not many games that I feel are as good as Burnout Paradise. You will definintely not find a better racing game. If you do get it here is my gamertag send me a friend request and maybe we can play together one day.

PS: I also have these muliplayer games Gears Of War 2, Halo 3, Call Of Duty 4 & W@W, Left 4 Dead, GTA 4 & The Lost and damned, Saint's Row 2, MK Vs DCU, Guitar Hero 3, and Street Fighter 4

I don't have xbox live anymore but would you still recommend the game so highly for the single player aspect?

Ive been playing a couple of weeks and I've been amazed at how it just hasnt gotten old yet. I actualy thought that going through many of the same types of events again and again would be dull but thats not all there is to the game, for one thing I mean the events actually become more difficlt as your license goes up, the goals become higher and the AI becomes considerably more aggressive

iits also very addictive trying to get al the cars, looking for al the paradise signs, superjump ramps, breaking road rules and burning routes etc etc etc

Not to mention the amount of dlc thats already available theres a fair bit, for example those 4 legendary cars you can buy, you might think the price is ridiculous but son as you drive them its wel worth it lol

and if you have at least one friend then set the game to open access the online is a blast

If any game causes you stress my friend, you're taking it far to seriously. Games are spose to help reduse stress.
Anyway, yes Burnout is a well worthwhile game. I played it till I got my A License then put it away, going for the Elite license was just to much work. The online is fun and the free bikes pack is a real bonus.

Great game, fun both off and online. Although I don't spend a lot of time playing it. It's usually in short bursts. Definitely worth the buy, especially since it's only 30$ now. And great support too, Criterion rocks!

what is this pcpd update you talk of?? Inquiring minds need to know.. And to answer the tc, no it doesn't get old.. There's a lot of things to do in paradise city and the dlc is great.. especially the bikes... And best of all most it is free!!!
