i personally thought cod3 was better then cod2 though mostly cause they got to build off cod2. there are vehicles in cod3 the multiplayer is really good too
I have a group of people that I play CoD games with. We tend to feel that CoD2 is better than CoD3 for multiplayer. I know one guy feels just the opposite. He likes the maps better and likes having vehicles. I played A TON of CoD2 multiplayer. We played CoD3 for a while, but went back to CoD2 before CoD4 came out. We are now full-time on that.
The graphics in Cod 3 are nicer than the ones in COD2, but for me the story was nowhere near as good. There are also some REALLY frustrating parts (on veteran).
I didn't like the online in COD3 at all.
If you've got COD4 and COD2 I'd only pick up COD3 if you can get it really cheap - better yet, why not rent it?
