No it's not. It's actually a really fun game. Maybe you only played the demos. Sure the SP is a little weak, but I have a blast everytime I play online. Especially with people who like to coordinate and be tactical.

I don't draw my opinions from demos. I never say a word about a game until I've played the retail version. I did. And that game blew. A complete battlefield rip off, nothing felt new or original.

Here's the thing, KAOS Studios created the mod for BF1942 called Desert Combat that was the blueprints for DICE to make BF2. Look at the buggys in DC and compare them to the ones in BF2, they're almost identical. So it's hard to say that this is a BF ripoff when it actually helped DICE create BF2. And actually there's more here than what BF offers, even with the newer BF games.
