Only get Crackdown if you plan on playing co-op online. I say this because after beating the game's 21 bosses and races in under 8 hours, I found that there was nothing else to do (unless you want to fight gang members randomly by turning the option on or if you want to orb hunt).
It's a great rental though.

That depends on how you play it. It may take 8 hours to run through the bosses and do all the races but also take into account all the agility orbs and hidden ones, and getting up all your levels max and that is atleast another solid 5 hours of play if not more. And also there is exploring the cities and doing different things to your imagination that may side track you for awhile. This game can take a lot longer then people say but thats up to you. Not to mention all the downloadble content comming out. More cities, vechciles, and skins. It is worth the purchase in my opinion, and im very satisfied with mine.

Even if you did complete what you said in 8 hours there is NO WAY you collected all the orbs and achievements yet. I have had the game since day one and still need 2 green orbs and 45 blue orbs and 6 achievements I believe. I play it everyday probably 50 hours invested.
