Does listening to music improve play?

Okay, for the last few days I've listened to hard rock when I play Lone Wolves in Halo 3, and am going up really fast. What I want to know is if any of you have had the same experience, or if Lone Wolves is just really easy.

when iam mad i turn on some rock and i be ballin

and when i do one on ones to but when iam with frineds i like to have fun and talk

my gameplay inproves when i'm playing COD4 while listening to iron maiden. i slaughter everyone in it when i'm listeneing to their 4 best albums which are powerslave, seventh son of a sevent son, number of the beas or a matter of life & death.

i'm a megga huge iron maiden fan my gamertag name is a little bit of a giveaway lol
