i was checkin out brutal legend a while ago, but over the last few months, everywhere i look is that game. in magazines, web site, tv, even xplay has talked about it many times. im so sick of seeing it, im not going to get it. (after looking in farther, it doesnt even look that good) does this ever happen to anyone else?

Normally no, usually if I want a game and they over advertise monthsbefore its released I go a little crazy. Because seriously no one likes a tease.

But what annoys me if I don't even remotly want a game, for exampleBrutal Legend, and it is over advertised it starts to boil my blood. Seeing my time could be wasted else where.

unfortunatedly is the other way around. eventually all that advertising gets under my skin and i end up getting the game. a good example... Prototype.

i just get annoyed at things easily, and when i see a TON of advertising dollars going to pushing a game over the top just bothers me. id rather play a game that doesnt need to be force fed to people and lets the game do the talking

i really don't care about in-game advertisements. i mean, iunderstand the issue but i don't why everyone makes such a huge fuss over it. so long as my game doesn't automatically pause in the middle of playto take a moment to listen to a few messages/advertisements from thesponsors then I'm cool with it most of the time. sometimes it can compliment the setting of the game but i really don't care. the only in-game advertisements i don't mind listening to are the fake ones in grand theft auto 4. those are priceless!

No. Not at all. They're just advertisements.

Yes, but only in the same way anyone gets annoyed after being subjected to the same commercial over and over.

It make me want to buy a game less if it is not advertised. I feel like if it is not advertised enough, the game will not be very good. If you think about it, most good games are advertised quite a bit, mainly because they have the money. And if they have money to advertise a lot, chances are their game will be pretty good.
