Hey,

Was wondering if anyone knew if the PC Guitar for GH3 works for both GH2 and 3 on XBOX 360. I'm in need of an extra guitar and it would suit me better getting the PC version.

Anyone know?

Thanks!

The Guitar Hero 3 PC Guitar is the *exact* same guitar as the Guitar Hero 2 guitar. So yes, it'll work.

yes it will work. as ALREADY mentioned, its jsut a usb controller. just like how the msoft headset for windows will work with a 360 and vice versa (also, the wireless adapter that comes with teh PC headset makes ur 360 stuff work on pc...)

due to the nature of the PC, i wasnt aware they had even launched it for PC. the PC isnt really a party console with many people in front of the screen.

thanks anyway, yep world tour PC has been out for a while, It would be cool if it did work, swapping from playing alone on PC, then going to a buds house to play on xbox or what ever. :)

It just doesnt happen. I have a pc guitar with a wireless controller that I got from guitar hero world tour. is just a usb so you would assume xbox would react to it. but when its connected to xbox, basically nothing happens. tried going through different ports, different channels, syncs, restarts, this and that. what happens is that the light of the controller and the guitar gets stable, so they do see each other. however xbox pretends nothing is happening other than this. guitar is completely defunct within the interface. i dont know if i am missing out anything.
