Does the New Slim Xbox 360 take a memory card HELP!!!!

If it doesn't take a memory card how would i transfer my data from my Memory Card to the New Xbox 360?

Microsoft memory cards still work, just take your old 360 and put that data on a USB thumb drive and then transfer the data to the new console
