-Don't get a 360, get a PS3-

That is what most people I know are telling me when I say that this year I'll be buying new console. Truth is, I'm leaning towards the 360 this year. And let's face it: the PS3 may be all nice and all, but it's too darn expensive, in the U.S. costs $600; where I live it costs $1000. That's way too much for a console and I'm certainly not going to give away my money just for that..

my advice is play in moderation, like i do, just play here and there, but of course there are time where you just go crazy and play for hours upon hours which is not big deal ppl leave theirs on for hours and nothing happens so it's mainly luck half the time

theres Cod4, halo 3, Assassains creed, tons of things. And as for the breaking down, i belive if you get it for Christmas, then you should have a problem with it but if you do, the one you get back runs very nicely.

My cousin's parents went out and bought him a PS3 and he is like 12 years old so he opened it. He wishes he had not opened it and would have returned the console to get the 360. He comes over once and a while and tells me that the 360 is like a thousand times better than his boring ps3. He would have even saved $150 to buy games and accessories if he would have exchanged it for the elite. One more thing I have a 360 keep it in a area where the console can vent play it as much as you want and everything will be fine. I have the money to buy a ps3 but no games the only reason I would purchase one is if i needed a blu-ray player and the 360 will keep you busy year after year. The 360 has got games PERIOD nobody can deny it.

Another thing for people like me who are now buying a 360 there are a ton of games that are used that came out over 2 years ago. so if you don't feel like you have to buy the newest games first you can have a lot of fun without spending 60 bucks a pop. people seem to forget that piece of info that there are so many games for 360 that you don't have to spend a ton of money on the gamesdslite887

Yeah, price wise, I'd say a 360, but this year, I say the PC had it best, and looking at next year, it isn't bad either! 360 or PC seems like the way to go, if you have questions about PC ugrading, go to the hardware forums and you'll be able to get an awesome price, probably 300-400 bucks in upgrades, but if you have lack of interest in that stuff, and just want an easy no brainer, just get a 360, or a Wii.

Yet....ps3 gets metal gear 4.....GAH! MUST NOT GIVE IN, MUST NOT GIVE IN! MUST...SAVE...MONEY!!!

I have both systems and there are pros and cons to both of them. I don't think any system is better.

The xbox 360 is very unreliable. I'm on my fifth one. It makes me scare to turn it on sometimes. When I buy a new game, I scared that I will get home and my 360 won't work. On the bright side, I love my gamercard and achievements on the system. Alot of the exclusive games are overrated but not bad like Halo 3, and bioshock in my opinion.

The PS3 has exclusive games that have the best graphics I've seen on any console like Heavenly sword, Ratchet and clank, Drakes fortune and motorstorm. These games really wow you when you play them. The 360 games I haven't felt the same way, but their games are still good. The PS3 is also a better media center and interacts with the PSP well. The Problem with the PS3 is that it has alot of potential that some developers haven't tapped into yet, but by 2008 it looks like this will change.

Most games are multiplatform anyway, so it comes down to what exclusives games you want to play more. I have both systems so I don't have to worry about that.
