now i have done everything in the game including the add-ons, nights, and shivering isles in 86 hours, but it took me 20 to do the main quest, i highly doubt you did all that in 20 hours.

Play the game for fun, not achievements! You have no clue how much you are missing by rushing through the guilds to get them.

I don't know why anyone would want to rush through this massive game. I want to experience all that I can and do everything that can be done. This game is definitely NOT about achievement points. It's about fun and a unique game experience...to me anyway.

Oblivion now has 1250 points total but the real fun in the game comes from doing all the sidequests and guilds etc, I didnt do the main quest till I had completed every sidequest

ooooops sorry :S yeah hehe obviously didnt pass it in 20...I really dont know how long, and nope I didnt rush it :)

I fully explored everything...ok but I will admit I went through some guilds quickly just because I didnt like most of the quests, for example thieves guild quests: I passed each one in like 4 minutes depending on what it was, when I got myself 100% invisibility, and I used this little trick to save me in many parts of the game :)...and well ok yeah sure -.- maybe I didnt fully grasp the entire gaming experience but Im happy with what I did :) I had fun...and I didnt pass it just for the achievements...I only passed it to be able to say I PASSED IT you know...so anywhays thanx for the info, I might consider buying the new expansion if it lowers the price...oh and btw its not that this game is for achievements its just that I personally get bored of such huge games, happened with Grand Theft Auto, Mercenaries...ect...I get bored of them :S dont know why :) o well... thanx again guys!

If you want to get all the points for Shivering Isles you also have to play through it twice...I did not care to much for that add on so I only did it once. I didn't care about the achievements but thuroughly enjoyed Oblivion. I still go back and make a new character every once in a while. A true masterpiece IMO.
