Hiya, just firstly I'll mention I'm a total n00b when it comes to Live, infact I haven't even used it yet. In the coming months I'll probably be getting a broadband connection.

Concerning DLC, the ones that you have to purchase, how do you actually pay for them? Do you need a credit card or some other method, or does paypal suffice? Any help is appreciated.

You can either use a credit card to buy microsoft points through your 360 or go to a electronic store and buy a microsoft point card, which you can enter the code on your 360, the points are what you use to buy things

You have your gamertag hooked up to a credit card or debit card and you buy points and it charges your card. You then use the points to buy the content that you want.

You can buy market points with a credit card through the dashboard marketplace menu or you can buy pre-paid cards. I strongly suggest that you buy the point card at your local wal-mart of such, cause once you put the credit card number on there, you can never erase it unless you delete everything

noob here too... so I downloaded an add on, intending it to be for my child's avatar. Since they don't have the permission, I did it on my account. thinking it would d/l and i could xfer it to the avatar of my choosing. later I found out its locked to my avatar. would have been nice to know that first. but also I think its crazy that all accounts have to have payment methods associated with them. kind of breaks out of the parental control.. that being said has any one had any luck hacking an add-on out of one avatar to give to another? not looking to duplicate it. just give the one I paid for to the avatar I originally intended.
