when I download demo's onto my console while it is off will my system get hot, coller than when turned on, or be just as hot as its normal state? I want to know this so I won't get the RRoD if it uses too much power.
Thx in advance

i'm not sure i understand the question. how do you download a demo with the console switched off?

I forgot where it is, but somewhere in the settings you can turn on an option to download content after you turn your Xbox 360.

That would be pretty useful. I might look into that the next time I download something.
the system does NOT run as hot. In fact you can tell a huge difference when its in the DL mode and the xbox is off.
Obviosly it won't run as hot as the GPU will not be used (the GPU is the main reason the damn box gets so hot and requires that god aweful fan set at the back). The CPU will be running but not under full load and therefore not as hot as it will get when in game, for these reasons, no it will not run hot.
