Is DA.O an open world rpg or is it more linear?

More linear to my knowledge. Like a KotOR game, Mass Effect or Baulders Gate. This is Bioware we're talking about, not Bethesda =P
I know it won't be open world like Oblivion or Fallout, I just mean as far as choosing where, when, and which quest you do.More linear to my knowledge. Like a KotOR game, Mass Effect or Baulders Gate. This is Bioware we're talking about, not Bethesda =P

[QUOTE="metroid_dragon"]I know it won't be open world like Oblivion or Fallout, I just mean as far as choosing where and when to do quests. Then yes, I'm pretty sure it will be open to that much, there will probably be certain parts that are more linear than others and some parts where you're left to fend for yourself with little direction other than a few sidequests. This is all speculation but it's going to be a good mix of the two genres. Personally I like games like this better than either fully linear or fully open world, as the former restricts exploring and the feeling of adventure, while the latter restricts story potential.More linear to my knowledge. Like a KotOR game, Mass Effect or Baulders Gate. This is Bioware we're talking about, not Bethesda =P
