I haven't played Dragon Age on the XBox yet. Is the combat good? Like is it auto attack or when you press the A button once your character will swing his sword once.
I liked the characters and dialouge interups so Mass Effect. Both Mass Effects also had decent combat, not great but not bad. Dragons Age had horrible combat, they could have just used Baldurs Gate's/Icewind Dale/Planescape Torment/Etc but instead they have a lousy MMO style battle system, that somehow uses worse animations than KOTOR.

... I've played Baldurs Gate and I find the combat very similar. I have never played a MMO with a battle system like this?
I prefer Mass Effect by a wide margin. Combat in Dragon Age is mediocre to say the least. In the beginning, you're only given two or three combat options. And one button to execute complex maneuvers? Overly simplified much? Though admittedly, I haven't given DA that much of a chance. Does combat improve vastly over time??

It's better if you prefer RPGs over TPS's. I personally enjoyed backstabbing as a rogue for massive critical hits, and then healing and doing aoe damage as a mage. Dragon's Age is really meant to be played on PC, but it's pretty damn fun on consoles, too.
Im not a big Fan of Dungeons and Dragons Type games so i have to go with Mass Effect . JUst needs to feel more like an RPG i think it will Once ME3 comes out
Oh man, that's a hard one. I love both these games, they're among my favourites. So I love them both. Both have great stories, characters and settings. I really love the Dragon Age time period.
Ive been sucked into them both i been alternating between the two got all the dlcs for both of them bioware has and problably will always make my style of games i was sucked into the icewind dale and baldurs gate series too and kotor's also. Love bioware and im glad ea is letting them do their thing.
