It's an RPG it will take time for it to open up and get better. Once I got done with the Origin I was having a blast though. The beginning was awesome and just keep at it. If you still dislike it after around two-hours it might just not be for you.

I tried it on Xbox and it's way better on PC, if you have a good PC I recommend you try it there.

That sounds ridiculous. I hated the game at first but I really got into it after about 2-3 hours into it.

That wasn't the case for me, I didn't like it until I got about an hour in.

Man at first I did like it,I can't lie. After playing for several hours though it started to get stale to me.I have a lot of cons I can talk about but I'll just talk about a few.

The first one is while I don't hate DLC,I must say that its pretty sad when you gotta pay to download some of the better stuff.Whats more is that there was DLC for the game when it came out.I thought that was kind of a rip off.

The second thing is that while the graphics and stuff have advanced for modern rpgs of this era,I find almost all of them lacking in the depth of the rpgs of say just 5 years ago.Take KOTOR 1 and 2,and the elderscrolls morrowind.Ya they might not look as good but I think they offer way more depth. You also got lots more content in those game without having to pay for dlc.

Dragon age does have some cool features but still it feels so shallow to me that I find it just ok now.Talking and dialog in games is cool and helps to further the story but I think gameplay matters most in a game and while dragon age has that, it still lacks wht some of the older rpgs had.

Why on Earth would you force yourself to play a game 4 times if you never enjoyed it?

It's the typical awesome Bioware rpg, so it starts kind of slow, but after a couple of hours it really starts to get addicting.

I lvoe dragon age but honestly it may be a bit too old school for you. Im 21 and i was fortunate to be exposed to PC gaming/ and or own a PC. There was a game called Baldurs gate in 1998 and baldurs gate 2 in 2000. Honestly some of my most favorite games, Dragon age is like a tribute to those games. Its a really good game, but the controls on the console are pretty terrible i might add. the game plays way way better on pc. The game isnt really an action rpg like mass effect, jade empire, its more of a tactical rpg. game is great but it jsut sounds like its not your cup of tea

To be brutal I thought it was a bit disappointing. The storyline is nothing new, the graphics are a bit bland, and it just doesn't feel like it brings anything new at all to the genre. It IS playable and the characters are amusing, but to be honest I prefer Mass Effect as a Bioware game.

I am guessing it had something to do with those little things called achievements. They make people do crazy things I tell ya lol.

I played it for a couple hours and didn't like it at all, decided I wasn't going to force myself to play it and just sent it back to Gamefly. One of the few games I have very few achievements for and one of the only ones I never finished.

if you want a good rpg from bioware trade dragon age in for mass effect 2. i read both dragon age books and got really hyped for the game. i just felt like after i got 2 or 3 good special attacks it was just really stale. if you dont like lord of the rings style stories or hack and slash games, dragon age isnt for you.

I thought the intro stories weren't the best but other than that I'm addicted to it. Ive made at least 6 characters and I can do something different with them each time.
