I'm all for "free speech" but as a lifetime gamer there are alot of things that drive me crazy and just want to throw in the towel with people. Sometimes, i wonder how people get thru life.

First, what is up with people "complaining" about games being too short....WHAT THE """. I don't remember in all my years of gaming actually buying a game, going straight home and playing the game right through the end. Who are these idio"""'s?

First:  Even if a game actually has 6 hours of gameplay, let's break this down:

$60 game BREAKS DOWN AS FOLLOWS:

1. $10 per hour of playing assuming you are playing perfectly and complete the game in 6 hours.
2. MOST GAMES HAVE "LIVE" SO YOU CAN EXTEND THE LENGTH OF THE GAME TO INFINITY.
3. If you don't have a "Live" account.....trade the Da''m game in for a credit....so now you are actually spending about $30 for the game.

AAAARRRGGGGG!!! Who are these people that always complain? I just want to scream at the top of my lungs at the stupidity of it all.
If you go to the movies, don't you spend AT LEAST $10-$20 on a ticket and snacks and that is only for about an 1 1/2 ?

Second:

I would like to play online with my "shooter games" and actually enjoy a "LIVE" experience, but everytime i go online with a game like Ghost Recon, i get "killed" within SECONDS and am constantly re-spawning as i don't even know where these snipers are hiding to actually get some "kills" myself.

Sarcasm: This is alot of fun just constantly getting killed by someone you didn't even know or see that they were their to begin with.

You may say.."well, you stink" and i say that i play games on the hardest difficuly settings and play pretty good on these settings.

And Third and Last:

What's up with my "REP" star rating?  I have 5 solid stars because i'm a fair player, but as i look at my "REP" stats i see that people report me for things that i don't even do just to attack me. I have been reported for trash talking or verbal insults...yet....i don't even own a microphone. Where are the moderators that I can turn to and argue my side?

In conclusion you may say "get a life" and my response would be , "I have a life, and that includes gaming and I guess the "human element" screw things up sometimes".

Does anyone feel the same way I do?

I just needed to vent

Short games = lazy developers. Games with little content = lazy devs. If a game is only 6 hours long, how do they expect people will buy it. I personally would much rather rent a game that small. Yes I know they often have LIVE, but not everyone enjoys playing online or even has internet. I know I personally prefer single player. And with quality games like Oblivion out, other games have no excuse for being so short.

man a 6 hour game would last me a good week before i play it online so thats not short for me. Not everyone buys a game, goes home, plays it all day until its beaten and then say, " yea that game is too short i beat it in one day." Some people like me only play a game for maybe an hour or so a day so a game that i can get through in around a week is kind of nice. Yes i do like long games like oblivion but its not to say every game in the would has to be that long. The way i see it is if you dont like a game or games, why not go make a longer and better one yourself and see that it may not be possible to make that game longer without complications. Point being now just be glad there are people making games for you to play...

10 bucks/hour for the single player campaign is insane. Anyone who develops a game that's supposed to have any semblance of a storyline, and it takes less than 8 hours to beat it should be shot. It's BS to extend gears into 3 installments, too. 180 bucks for three short games vs 60 bucks for one game of appropriate length. The game sucked to begin with, I'm not spending another 120 bucks.

well, when you buy a game and spend over 100 hours easily on it, it's insulting to pay 60 dollars for another that takes you maybe 5 hours.
