So after nearly ten years of production, development, cancellation, development company's closing down, re-adoption, more development, more cancellations and re-adoptions and overall development hell, Duke Nukem Forever finally arrives--and receives a 3.0/10 on GameSpot.
I haven't played the game, so I'm not in a position to speak about the game's quality. So, that's why I'm putting it out there for you to respond. Is the game really that bad, and what do you think could've led to its critical savagery--not just from GameSpot, but from other reviewers as well? Was it the years and years of development hell and constant lapses in production?
Are you a diehard Duke Nukem fanatic who has been waiting for the game for 10 years now only to have your expectations and dreams blasted by a freeze ray and shattered? Or are you not surprised at all?
