I'm looking for a game that my boyfriend and I can play together that he won't hate instantly- he's never been into video games, despises involved RPGs, and, with all due respect, is not particularly skilled when it comes to gaming in general.

I'd love to find a game that he and I could play together where we are both equally involved but one that requires very little attention to the storyline. Lots of looting, killing, etc. requiring a mediocre skill level.

It would be nice if it were a decent game with not too many bugs and had some thought put into the storyline, to keep me from quitting out of boredom.

Can anyone offer up any suggestions?

Thank you so much!

My girlfriend and I have been playing through Neverwinter Nights together. I guess that doesn't help you a whole lot, since it's on PC.

Thanks for the suggestion :) Unfortunately, when we move into our house in April I'll no longer have a newer PC and will most certainly have to avoid playing games on the one I'll have frequent access to... damn.

Try Sacred 2 or Borderlands...I am not trying to be sexist but this may be the first time I have heard of THIS problem...usually it is the other way around! Congratulations on surviving in the male dominated world of gaming...

Borderlands fits perfectly the criteria of the first post + there's already 3 DLCs out so if your boyfriend is enjoying it you can expand the experience with the DLCs (though i personally wouldn't recommend Moxxi...)

Try Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2 for the original Xbox. It's an amazing dungeon crawler, but it might not run too well. I can't get mine to run perfectly, but I still play it because I like it so much.

They really need more dungeon crawlers.
