There have been some previews about this game that suggest this might be a potential gem of a game. Im really into RPGs and was wondering if anyone who had played the previous games would recommend it. Does it play like Western RPGs like Dragon Age and Mass Effect and will it be open world? With Square-Enix involved Im quite hopeful that it could be a deep and rewarding game, something to fill the time before Mass Effect 3 anyway..MarkJiSung
The demo is out today... honestly it looks almost as bad as Daggerdale...
Played the demo today. Usually I give every demo a complete chance by beating the demo. I didn't for this game. You have one attack button (two if you include shield bashing), two fighting styles, and really bland fight animations. The combat feels far too tight, especially just coming off of playing some Arkham Asylum. The character models are just awful. Well, actually all the graphics are just plain bad in my opinion. I play on a 22 inch LG with an HDMI and 1080p, and I was disappointed by the lack of polish this game has visually. I really never have any opinion on the voice acting of games unless it is absolutely stellar, so I will stick to that as I do not have a strong opinion on it. Personally, I did not enjoy this game, and I do very much like action RPGs. Avoid this game unless I am just not thinking straight here.

The multiplayer component in Dungeon Siege III isn't exactly what you might expect. It's an action role-playing game that supports drop-in, drop-out play for up to four players. Two can play on the same screen locally, and up to four can play online. If you're in a game with a friend playing locally, it's possible for two others online to hop into the game. The catch is if it's not a game you started, you can't import your character. And if you join in to help out in someone else's game, when you exit you won't retain that character's loot or progression through the story. I thought that was important to point out in case the messaging so far has made it seem it's possible to bring existing characters into the games of others. IGN
