Just get canned air and blow it out once every week or so. That is what I did with my laptop and Xbox in Baghdad.

Despite what some might say I hoover mine every so often and it works a treat just run the nozzle over the holes gently, also what is that felt? I wouldn't recommend covering the holes though.

Compressed air, it comes in cans, you get it at computer stores and Office Supply stores. It has a little straw like attachment that attaches to the nozel and can be used to get inside the 360.

I dunno blowing compressed air into that might knock something array no? But if it's worked fine with you I suppose it would be ok.

I use a small Towel I bought at Target for $5 to cover my PS3. I dont use anything to cover my 360 though. A $5 towel should work fine for a 360 though.

I wouldn't think covering it up with something would be a good solution, as it might trap too much heat within the console. The compressed can of air is a good idea or try sticking it in a drawer or something when your not using it & just don't play during sand storms.

Not while it is off.

Never ever cover a system while it is on.

Yeah, sand gets everywhere in the Gulf region. Qatar, SA, Kuwait and Iraq all get dust storms this time of year that last for days and even weeks. the dust is super fine and gets everywhere. Just use the canned air once a week and blow all the dust out as best you can. Dust and Sand are hell on electronics over there.

i heard u can also use a vacuum cleaner with the bristles on the end to go over the 360 once ot twice a week in the vents to suck out dust.
