E3 2008 Microsoft Press Conference Discussion - ALL discussion goes here!

Microsoft's press conference will occur today at 10:30 a.m. pacific time. You can watch the conference and participate in a live chat here. This thread will be used for discussions of new games or other developments Microsoft announces during the event.

We've got about two and a half hours left, so get excited, everyone! :D

I'm truly excited about Microsoft's new innovations mentioned at the conference. I absolutely love the new Dashboard (and Guide looks amazing, too!), the Netflix partnership is incredible (although I don't plan on getting a subscription), and the new games are simply the best on any console, according to my personal tastes.

I can't wait! I doubt Sony or Nintendo can possibly top this, even looking at this from a non-fanboy view.

I'll be watchin here and on G4. Mostly G4 cause it is better on a T.V imo, but they also go to commercials every now and then and last year they cut out just before the Halo 3 footage.

O yea lol, I was pissed to find out that was one of their "big" announcements, hopefully there won't be a sequel announced this year:P

I hope they announce that new halo game, all I know it's going to be some squad based-shooter, we'll see, but I hope they put a Gears 2 demo, won't happen but one can hope:DMoe414

It would suck if they released a Gears 2 demo but only for like the week of E3 because I barely sent my 360 in yesterday.

I'm hoping for something cool, too. I'd really like some more concrete information on the new Banjo Kazooie as well as something exciting that I'm not expecting.

Ouch, but they never did that, a limited time demo, they remove demos after a long time, so you would have time;)

I really hope they don't screw up Banjo Kazooie, I am really looking forward to that game, looks really fun and nice, one game that I am really looking forward to seeing there would be Rock Band 2, that game will most probably be better than GH4:P

Ya I guess, but there was this one time with Madden 09 gamer pics and I think a theme that were free, but only for gold members, and as soon as I got gold, it was gone. I really wanted Brett on my 360.

I want Led Zeppelin in Rockband 2, that would be great, and some Linkin Park and some more Disturbed, they got many others but I can't think of them, what would be awesoem though if you can make your own songs, like you and some friends get together and can record your own song, then it could be shared online so like you can download and play it, that owuld be awesome:D BTW I'll buy it for you, you live pretty close to me, Mississippi and Louisiana are pretty close:P

RE5 co op looks great. Made for co-op.Could be that zombie game every gamer has wanted.

Gears of war 2 november 7. gameplay show looks promising. Shows best trailer I have ever seen showing giant war.

Fable 2 co op. instant join. coming october 2008.

Hurray for stealing horrible ideas from the Wii and calling it your "vision". I assume I will get a refund for any themes and pictures I bought.

I must have missed the RE5 part, the site was down for the first 15 minutes for me. Great news, that's the game I want most.

Netflix and watching movies with friends, very nice.

Bango coming out on XBLA, also very nice. I still have it for the N64 but haven't played it for years.
