For a while I believe 2k was doing better, but lately some of thier games havent been that great imo. to be honest, I don't think either company is doing a good job with thier games at the moment.
But if i had to choose....for football i would choose ea. For anything else, choose 2k. Though I have been told that nhl 09 is quite good.
I only play basketball and football but 2k is alot better than EA IMO in those sports. EA has the rights to football games but 2k's last football game NFL 2k5 was better than madden 05. EA has gotten real lazy since they know people will buy there games because of the no competition. I think EA has the better Hockey game though
The only thing is, 2K really screwed up bigtime this year with NBA 2K9's online. It's the worst thing ever, and is being classified as the second worst online gameplay in gaming history. However, for offline, NBA 2K9 blows Live out of the water.
NBA 2K series is always leaps and bounds better than NBA Live, and 2K made the best NFL game ever in NFL 2K5, It was good in fact, that EA bought the NFL license to stop 2K from ever making another NFL game. If you can't beat them, just make it so they can't do anything.
