Someone in my friends list is currently playing GTA IV as you can clearly see:

I dont know why people are still flapping about getting banned.

Not only can MS not tell who is playing an illegally downloaded copy and who is playing a legit copy, but it is unlikely they will ban people who started playing it today because a lot of legitimate online pre-orders arrived yesterday.

Mine unfortunately did not, but was despatched friday so will be here tommorow morning.

why did u cover his/her gamerscore?

that person might get ban but i don't think so. it is so close to release.

It bugs me if he pirated it, if it's a legit copy that came through the post, then it's cool.

BTW, love the avi, you a big fan of Reason too? I've owned ever Reason they've put out, and a couple versions of Rebirth too.

Uh no, who ever said they already got there copy from online preoder is wrong they dont ship to TuesdayZearon1

Not shipping them until tuesday makes it kinda impossible to deliver on the promise of having the game to you for the release date.

the vast majority of places post 2 days before the release date, however with GTA IV, most places sent them out friday, or will be sending them out monday.

Yeh i've owned reason for over 5-6 years and have recently updated to 4.0 which is amazingly insane.......

As for everyone else's post saying that he got an illegal copy, I personally know him but he refuses to tell me where he gets it from but it definatly isn't a copy of the game, it's the official game from a little Chinese vendor that makes their profit by releasing games 3 days in advanced...This same situation happened with Halo 3 when I saw he was online playing DeathMatch on the morning of September 22nd.

It just urks me!! Because now I gotta hear bragging and possible spoilers!!
