With word of first GeoW2 footage on May 9th and the embargo for the recent Banjo press showing ending on May 13th, is this when MS will FINALLY give us the good taste of what's coming in the second half of 2008 (other than Too Human and Fable 2)?

I think it will because it will be almost 2 years since the original was released when GeOW2 will be released. As long as they started working on it once the first one came out.

Maybe they will be showing off some of the new features in this Springs update?
