ha i wonder how much glitches and bugs this game may have for a mmo

i dont know why ppl is so surprised. there was an article here @ gamespot i think it was about fallout new vegas and they askedBethesda if they were working on Elder Scrolls V and they said no and that there was no plans for a ES anytime soon. and that was like 2 months ago.

There was already a thread on this today. However, I still don't care if a new one isn't in the works because Oblivion was a big waste of $40.

Even though he says "not anytime soon," he's still saying they are not even considering TES 5. I sad to hear they might be considering going the MMO route, as I think that might ruin it.

That really sucks, I was really hoping for that :(

They never said it wasn't going to happen, just not anytime soon. Yes, an MMO might not be the best idea, but it will bring in even more money so that the production values of the Elder Scrolls and "Fallout" series will rise.

I think everyone knew it would be a while. They take their time with games. It'll just take even longer now. It's not like Valve is saying that they aren't working on Half_life 2: Episode 3 yet.

So what? We won't get The Elder Scrolls V by 2011. No big deal. Just play Morrowind, Daggerfall, Arena, or Oblivion on the PC(x100 better than the 360 version)

That's pushing it. They need to take their time with things like this, and they have another big IP and they might make a new IP all together. And they never actually said, "We're making an Elder Scrolls MMO" They're just considering it. Just like a lot of RPG developers now.

But, unlike KOTOR, they didn't say anything about NOT continuing the main series.

Making an MMO now is definnently the wrong way to go,there is way too much competition, unless of course they made it free to play, which wouldnt happen. not everyone is Valve y'know.

Mmorpgs have gotten stale over the years..Nothing new or major has been released..The ones that did come out, have no end content...You have to wait years for end content to come out..Myself im not interested in a mmorpg style elder scrolls game..Just doesnt make sence..There looking at wow an saying, we can make a lot more cash if we make one..Just stick with a rpg game...Im getting tired of all these companies considering mmorpgs..Its really getting old..Just stick with what you know best..Make a good rpg game like morrowind again..Thats what will make me happy any how...

Yeah, the topic title is misleading. Not coming=Van Buren Project. Not coming anytime soon=Half-Life 2: Episode 3. Elder Scrolls V is in the latter.

I'm not as mad about this as I was The Old Republic because 1)It's not confirmed that there will be an MMO and 2)Even if there is, they never said that this would replace the main sereis(like The Old Republic will)
