Man I rather pay $20 for spray paint then for a face plat. I could customize it the way I would want and the whole console would be the same color not just the face plat.

i like the black color, and id rather spend 20 bucks than 480 its not cheap, its smart. and ill probably just spraypaint my xtra white one i got from microsoft.

you can't really do a $h1t job. Just get newspaper. put the faceplate on the newspaper on the ground. and SPRAY. make sure it's all black. Let it dry. maybe add anything else you want and BAM you're done. Really...no going wrong except maybe spraying your hands and shoes and clothing? lol haha

Obviously the words of someone who's never tried. You forgot how you have to tape over the sensor, joints, and the pain in the ace ring of light- this being near impossible to do even a halfway decent job, exacto knife or not. Ever notice that even the professional console painting companies leave that part white? It isn't easy, I tried for an art project.Â
