yeah same here..if you already have a 360 dont get the elite.
heres the reasons to buy it 1. black finish makes the white look dull 2. hdmi is only useful if you have a HDTV 3. 120gb harddrive will mean downloading movies will not fill you drive in 2 seconds 4.it runs slightly cooler and uses slightly less power than before so it will be a cooler runner. 5.its well priced and you do get a lot for $80 more thats a $180 harddrive and hdmi and black finish
I plan on getting one....or whatever the best SKU is come next year. (possibly a Halo system?). I'll be giving this console to my lil bro, so we'll be able to keep in touch while I'm moving to other duty stations.
i'm getting one when i get the money... (only got 170 :P) but yea i don't have a 360 yet, but imo if you already have a 360 just get the bigger HDD if you want
i wish i had my elite back.... bought 1 on the 29th launch day and then i took it back thinking it wasnt a good deal... but i bought a pro..andthe elite was so much easyer to set up... all i had to do is plug in the hdmi cable power pack turn on the system i was playing in 1080i.. but when i hooked up my pro system i had to fool with the 360 asystem settings to get 1080i...
and the elite made the games look better didnt get as hot as my pro system does now.. and all these free demos and videos i coulda dl every single one with my eilite but on my pro i dl like 8 and my space is almost gone... so go for the elite its worth the extra 80 bucks i know that now :(
