hey, alota ppl probably already asked this. but I'm thinking of trading in my premium for the elite (it just came out here in australia today) but I was just wandering if the red ring of death problem has been fixed. Also, is hdmi only good if I have a 1080p compatible tv?
I think it's worth it, the Elite herein Ontario is about $80 more then the premium edition. Since the Eliute comes with the 120gb harddrive which seperatly is $299, it is so worth it IMO to buy an Elite for the bigger HD.

I did the same thing. A few days after I bought mine, they dropped the price.
Hey people, i got my Elite last week, it only worked out (due to staff discount and money-off deals) that it would be an extra £23.....i would have been stupid NOT to get it!
Ended up with the Elite, crackdown, pro evo 6 and rainbow six vegas.......great stuff!
I think that if you have a tv or what not with HDMI input that it would be worth it, but for 120gb I really dont think it is. I never drop below 10gb on my hard drive because I delete all my demosI am done with, what is the point of keeping them after you play them?
for an extra £50 i got an elite extra controller (wirelss) rechargable battery play n hcarge kit and 3 games inc bioshock/NFS collecotrs edition and pro evo 6
