It the Elite worth the buy? I understand it has a bigger hard drive, but is that it considering I could just get the premium with an HDMI port as well.

no, because the black is ugly, and you probably wont need all 120 gigs, since 20 is enough for the average person, i have 10 left from my 20 gig. if your tv can't do 1080p with components or can't do 1080p at all why would you even need hdmi

In my opinion, it's not worth getting if you can get a Premium with HDMI. Chances are then you'll also get one that's quieter and cooler, like the Elite.

I'm getting the Elite because the upgraded Premium won't be available where I live for a long time. Also black looks a whole lot better.

As for not getting one with HDMI at all, now that's not very far-sighted at all. Might want to have the option to get a TV that supports 1080p later. And HDMI is also a lot more practical and clean, even if you never disconnect the xbox.

Until the newer premium is available with HDMI wherever you are....go for the elite. If its a matter of weeks then wait, otherwise just go for the elite.

The comment on black + 360.....pure opinion the colour makes no effect on the performance ffs.

It worked out an extra £25 for me to get the elite over the prmium so it was a no-brainer.

if you just getting into the 360 market...go pro unless you need the HDD space.

if you already have a 360...no dont upgrade to the elite.
