Is anyone else having problems with some levels on Halo 1 and Halo 2 in their 'campaign' ??

In Halo 2, the Earth level is buggy and not loading up properly with weird lines and white/grey rectangles, etc. The level became unplayable as I progressed through it.

MS should release an update to fix these emulation issues. Do you have any problems with the campaign ?

I had no problems with Halo 1, havent tried Halo 2. Try giving your 360 a bit more room to ventialte, it might just be over heating or something.

I get a weird "ghost" image after playing halo 2 for a while, whether in campaign or in multiplayer. Sometimes it shows up after a half hour, other times after a couple of hours. When I look closely at it, the transparent shapes that are on the screen look like some sort of menu screen or heads up display. One time I even saw a ghost image of a different weapon than what I was carrying. Sucky, but hasn't totally interfered with my ability to play the game.

Halo 1 works perfectly. Halo 2 almost works perfectly. I have played both of these games on 360 single-player, co-op split screen and multiplayer online for Halo 2.

Halo 2 has a well known bug that retains a silhouette of a previous scene. It's sort of like a dirty windshield. Otherwise, I haven't experienced anything else.

My guess is that the GPU retains the previous scene in memory. I'm sure MS knows of this bug, but there isn't a solution yet. I have tried restarting the game, but it doesn't work. Rebooting the 360 works, but the bug will happen again. It's best to just play through it as it eventually goes away.

The multiplayer in Halo 2 is fine. No problems there. I also play 360 games with no problems.

I have no doubt it is an emulation problem which MS needs to fix with an update.

Play the level 'outskirts' (i think thats what its called) and see what happens !

My 360 would freeze if I tried to play multiplayer levels for Halo 1 and in campaign guns on the ground would sometimes be colorless
