I heard that the game is 20+ hours long, but is not very engaging. I also heard that the dialouge is horrible, destroying the game altogether. I would just wait for Mass Effect for a true RPG experience.

I actually enjoyed it a lot. But it seems I'm in the minority. If you do get, first thing you do, turn the language to Japanese and just read the subtitles. The English voiceover is complete crap, and may cause blood to burst from your ears.
i've been wondering the same thing actually, been getting the same responses. everyone one i've asked has said it's crap, and rent it if you want to play, stuff like that

What JRPG game DOESN'T have a crap english voice over. I think the english voice over in this game is just fine. The only thing that's retarded about this game is the final battle...well, without giving away any spoilers...you need ALOT of hit points...
However, this game is much longer than 20 hours (I currently have 49 hours and still have one area left to explore). It's a great game, just don't spend fifty bucks on it.
Not to good.....but i mean its not bad for a RPG for the 360. Maybe try renting it first befor yu buy it...i mean if yu can get it for cheap i think its worth the money if yu are a big RPG Fan. The game play is alittle different but also fun. so try it out i think if yu a good RPG fan go get it. or maybe try rentn it.
i played this game and could only get through about 5 hours of it, before it just became annoying. Everything boss battle is pretty much the same and the characters suck, maybe even literally. the game blows!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know what bad acting the people are complaining about? Sure the main character's english voice actor was bad but I thought that all the other ones fit their parts very well. The dialogue was also unusually well written and funny for this kind of game.
I got it for $20 and beat it so I call tell you that the game is good. It also gets better as you move along, it starts of kinda boring but then it gets better. The second half of the game is actually the better half.
