Endwar with Headset

I've been looking for a good rts game for awhile now, and I'm thinking about buying some turtle beaches and Tom Clancy's Endwar. My questions are, does the headset work well with the game? and is it too late to buy the game now? Endwar is only 16 bucks on amazon now, and I'm going to use the headset for more than just endwar. (MW2, Borderlands, etc.) Btw, Im buying the XLCs cause theyre the cheapest. Suggestions or thoughts?

Endwar is good, but I prefer Red Alert 3.

If i remember right theres a demo for endwar on the marketplace for free. play that and find out for yourself.

I didn't play too much Endwar, but from the Beta and Demo it felt really dry compared to almost all other RTSs. The voice control was completely awesome, but the limitation of only like 6 different units (and no matter what faction they are all the same...) just killed it for me. I know RTSs are based around rock-paper-scissors, but EndWar took that a little too literally and it just got boring after awhile.

And the most fun I have had with a console RTS (well since Starcraft 64) has been Halo Wars, even though BFME 2 wasn't too bad.

As for the Headset part, wait till March 15th and buy the new released X11's. It's the corded version of the X31's basically. You wont have interference and the price is only $60.

I played a demo of Endwar and it actually worked surprisingly well with the headset. Like, it recognised 95% of every command I gave.

It's a very interesting way to play. Although I can't play RTS games for the life of me, so once I had my fun with the speech thing I turned it off xD

it didnt work too much for me, probably because i have an accent, but then i switch to spanish and it didnt work too good again

The headset works fine, the game itself though seemed a little below par though. I still prefer playing these types of games on my Mac (WarCraft III ftw) though just because of how much smoother they play using a mouse and keyboard.

lazy award of the year lol. they make gaming headsets for pc and consoles.

Ah thanks. I'm always wondering what my friends are talking about when they say "I got a new Turtle Beach!!!"

Check out the X11, then you can yell it :)
