i want to get a 360 from gamecrazy. it costs 350$, and ive got 100$ cash. i want to trade in a ds lite in fairly good condition with 4 games, a gamecube with 2 controllers and a 256 mem card, with 25 games (i know i was a nintendo noid). is this enough to get the primeum package? oh ya and I also am MVP, so i get 10% more in store value on trade-ins.
i called um on the phone and they said that they cant give estamates when you have 25 gamecube games, so im looking for someone to help. so dont just say call um, and dont post if you dont think u can estimate how much this will earn.
The Gamecube and games aren't worth all that much but with 25 games you might be pretty damn close. Don't be surprised if you are still short of the goal though. All the stores rip you off.
i called again for the gamecube estimate and he said it was worth around 35$ with the controllers and everything. he said the games are about 5 dollars each, give or take a buck or two. so that would take me to around 140-150 dollars, plus my 100 cash, so about 250 dollars. can someone give me an estimate on the ds lite and 4 games?
for the last time stop telling me to call and ask, they cant give a good estimate with the ds cuz they have too many people there now so stop repeating wat every1 else has said like 10 times. and do you really think im that dumb to waste my time asking on a forum first before i call the store?
yeah that should be enough i sold like 6 5 games to gamestop a few days ago and they were game cube and i got 66$ they are having a sale like every 5 games get 30% more
Why does everyone say to call? Are the gaming stores in a different city for all these people? Just go there, and they'll tell you exactly how much they'll give you, if you're not satisfied with the amount they give you just leave, it's not like they're forceing you to sell it once you're there.

I don't think stores will give you much for trade-ins. I'm going to say that you're probably going to get around $180 for all your stuff wich still isn't enough for a 360 Premium. You'll likely get a lot more if you can sell the stuff separately on your own.
dude dont toss away all ur games . if you dont got much money save up and get a 360 . you could even find a used one for a better price . dont rush into getting a system if u dont even have the cash to get the system you wont be able to buy many games at all. plus you would have lost those 25 games u traded in . also do you have an hd tv? cus it takes away alot of what makes those graphics look great.

If he is never going to play the games again, he isn't really losing anything. The question is weather or not he wants to try for more money else where.
I don't know how much you will get for your DS Lite, but I know I called GameStop yesterday for the value of a PSP trade-in and they said $60. I don't think they are going to give you more than that for a DS Lite, even if they give you that much. But as said before, all the stores are different in different cities.

You are seriously much much better off selling all that stuff individually on ebay. You will probably be able to get the premium and a couple games if you go the ebay route, though it will take about two weeks to wrap it all up.
In other words, you will have enough plus some to spare if you take the trouble to ebay it.

Jeez come on, if THEY THEMSELVES can't even give a good estimate, then what do you think someone who doesn't even work in the store can say about it? I think you'll get $2000,- for it....happy?
gamestores will rip you off bad, they're cheapskates and will take it from you at a low price, just listen to every1 else and sellit by yourself, im sure you could do well on ebay
Your best bet is to go into the store and they will scan all the items for you and give you a total value of your trade in items. I don't work for a game store, so I couldn't possibly give you an estimate. That's just like asking a guy that works as a hot dog vendor inMichiganhow muchare health insurance quotes for the states of Florida and Arizona. Your best bet would be to call the appropriate insurance company in that state to find out :-)
